Carlene Cuadra
Carlene Cuadra is a second year computer science student at the University of Florida. She is also working toward a minor in UF’s Digital Arts and Sciences Program. Carlene’s research focus is computer graphics and biomedical research.
In collaboration with the Shands Hospital Oncology Department, Carlene is developing a diagnostic tool that uses deep learning to assist doctors with detecting and studying metastatic cancers. In her prior work, Carline has a published a paper that focuses on renewable energy.
Carlene is from Miami, and loves sports. She is an active participant in the UF’s intramural sports program. Through her research and work experience, Carlene has gained first hand experience? in engineering, computer graphics and computer vision, and hopes to continue expanding her knowledge through her research and computer science studies.
